The Epitome of Ultra Modern Automobile: Tesla’s Model X

It’s stylish,  luxurious, even futuristic – the Model X is the world’s very FIRST electric SUV and it’s gorgeous. Tesla Motors has yet again redefined the essence of an electric vehicle.

Tesla has been creating hype for the Model X for years, raising expectations to a point anyone in the automotive industry would find daunting to meet. On 29th September, the Silicon Valley based automaker unveiled the much awaited production model.

Aerodynamic Efficiency

Perhaps the most aerodynamic SUV in existence, Model X can achieve a range of 250 miles on a single charge. With a drag coefficient as low as 20% than typical SUVs, the Model X, in addition, also offers an active spoiler that deploys from the rear liftgate to complement the SUV’s stability and highway efficiency.

The Falcon Wings

The hallmark of innovation, the falcon doors on the Model X allow easy entry and exit in even the tightest parking spaces where normal SUVs or Minivans won’t. Requiring at least a foot on either side of the vehicle, the ultrasonic sensors installed on the doors scan the immediate area surrounding the vehicle to determine the space, and then adjust and span the doors to open accordingly. The door action is articulately smooth and looks stunning to say the least.

Exquisite Interior

The word ‘exquisite’ best describes the vehicle’s interior styling. The contemporarily luxurious seats are impeccably covered with white leather and the dash is fitted with an enormous 17inch touch screen. Not to mention, the SUV is equipped with the largest panoramic windshield in the entire automotive industry. It provides a view like none other, of the road as well as the sky above. Obstruction free view and optimized solar tinting provides great visibility for everyone in the vehicle.

Immense Carrying Capacity

Comfortably seating up to seven people, the Model X has 3 rows of seating. While each seat is the best in the house, but if we had to choose one, the middle row is a fabulous work of art. Each seat provides abundant leg room and comfort and can be reclined independently. The last row on the other hand can be folded flat when they’re not being used and if you want more cargo space lean the second row forward for more cargo space.

It’s not its impeccable futuristic design that stays away from modern cliches. It’s not even Model X’s unparalleled performance which FYI is 060 in 3.8 seconds. Not the wing like “falcon” doors, or its total innovative existence. It’s simply how these aspects come together in perfect harmony. What Tesla engineers were bold enough to imagine makes this electric SUV a highly desirable one.
