Owning a luxury vehicle is, among other things, an expression of the power to choose. To be able to pick and choose a high end car – one which reflects your personal sense of taste and unique style – is one of the great joys that comes with a specific sort of lifestyle. But what type of car attracts which sort of person? Can we judge somebody’s personality based on their choice of luxury vehicle brand? We believe we can, thanks to the unique characteristics each brand possesses, and the image they go to great lengths to project. Check out our assumptions below… and feel free to let us know in the comments whether we got it right!
Porsche
Porsche drivers love a bit of attention, and adore the combination of sportiness, sex appeal and ostentatious luxury their cars represent. As such, their perfect day would involve a morning of extreme sports, an afternoon taking in a wine tour, and an evening at the city’s best cocktail bar. They’re not scared of getting their hands dirty, though, and will gladly get down to the business of doing up their car themselves if they get the chance.
Ferrari
The Ferrari is the car for the man (let’s face it, these are primarily boy’s toys) who has worked hard for his money, and wants to show the world what he’s got. Ferrari drivers invariably love motoring, and probably own several high-end sports cars, and take the business of car collection quite seriously.
Maserati
The Maserati driver is cool, elegant, effortlessly stylish and interested in that fine balance between practicality and luxury. This is the luxury sports car for the more cultured, sophisticated, younger-than-middle-age individuals, who’ll take in a private exhibition before heading to the designer clothes store.
Mercedes-Benz
The high-end Mercedes driver is less interested in performance and speed, and far more interested in the true luxury that comes with genuine comfort. They’re gadget-lovers, always looking for the latest apps and options to add to their vehicle, and are calm drivers who take great pleasure in heading out of the city, and getting onto the country’s great driving roads.
Aston Martin
One for the lovers of life’s finer things, for sure. Aston Martin cars have an air of exclusivity about them; they’re rare and rarified, and their drivers revel in this fact. If you own an Aston Martin, you’re cultured, classy and refined, and probably spend your time seeking out beautiful things to fill your home with, before heading down to the luxury boutiques to pick up a bottle of great wine and the finest cheeses money can buy.
