When Céline opened its first Australian store last year in Melbourne’s Chadstone shopping centre, it made fashion headlines. Now, the French fashion house has announced its second Australian store, and Sydney has been chosen to host.
Scheduled to open this month, the store will be located on Level 4 in Westfield Sydney, just off Pitt St Mall, alongside a slew of other high end designer labels.
Launching with their autumn/winter ready-to-wear ’17 collection, Céline’s Sydney store will stock a full range of ready-to-wear pieces straight off the runway, alongside an array of leather goods, shoes and accessories.
With 140 stores around the world, founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and owned by the LVMH group, today it is under the creative direction of Phoebe Philo. The label specialises in timeless accessories that focus on clean design and clothing with beautiful tailoring.
