The iconic and classic brand has opened a new boutique in the Gold Coast, designed by world renowned architect, Peter Marino. Its exquisite interior features bespoke furnishings to complement the brand’s un-comparable collection of jewellery, watches, and accessories, exemplifying the highest standard of Italian design.
Inspired by 2700 years of Roman architecture and Mediterranean origins, the new boutique, sprawled over 150sqm is realised in ancient marbles and stones, typical of Roman buildings with square-patterned walnut parquet floors and a Murano crystal chandelier – luxurious finishes that speak to the house’s grand history. For those who prefer to peruse their gems in privacy, a VIP area will be concealed behind a sliding bronze latticework screen.
“Following the renovation of the Via Condotti flagship in Rome, the new architectural design concept is currently being rolled out by the LVMH brand in worldwide prominent locations,” said a LVMH spokesperson.
In the best Bulgari style of keeping their creations unmatched the boutique is showcasing an additional selection of one-of-a-kind jewellery masterpieces in the the in-house art gallery.
This marks the fourth opening in Australia for the 1884 founded designer house by Greek-Roman jeweller Sotir Bulgari, Bulgari opened its first and current flagship store in Via Condetti in 1905. The largest Bulgari store in the world is the 10-story Bulgari Ginza Tower in Tokyo, covering 940 square metres of retail floor space.
