Angelina Jolie & Guerlain

Angelina Jolie has been chosen as the face of Guerlain’s new fragrance, Mon Guerlain, and will donate her entire earnings from the campaign to charity. The partnership was initially agreed in Cambodia – the birthplace of Jolie’s first son, Maddox – in December 2015 while Jolie was filming First They Killed My Father in Cambodia. The actress reportedly has childhood memories of seeing her mother using Guerlain powder.

“We create perfumes for the women we admire,” Jacques Guerlain said in a statement, whilst the brand’s master perfumer Thierry Wasser said he drew inspiration from Jolie to create a fragrance expressing the “notes of a woman”.

As well as being an actress, filmmaker and mother of six, Jolie is a special envoy of the UN Refugee Agency and co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. This will be Jolie’s first role as an ambassador for a beauty brand for 10 years – her last being for Shiseido all the way back in 2007.
