John Hardy spotted Aboah’s amazing jewellery aesthetic and decided to make it shoppable. The model-jeweller relationship began when the sustainable luxury company chose Aboah for its autumn/winter 2017 campaign and we can only guess the affinity blossomed from there.
“Our collaboration celebrates the artistic spirit of chain, its strength and ability to transform into endless combinations to express your personal aesthetic,” Hollie Bonneville Barden, creative director of John Hardy, explained of the union. “From the very beginning, Adwoa brought a distinctive point of view on raw materials that were rich in contrasts, including powerful stones accented with splashes of colour that felt authentic to her creative, bold style.”
The collection not only holds hoop earrings, multi-strand bracelets and handwoven linked necklaces, but also stackable signet rings inspired by an Aboah family heirloom. Aboah evolved the lineage of the ring shape by creating one in homage to Gurls Talk, her female empowerment platform.
